Group Music Instrument Carousel (Instrumentenkarussel)
€22 per class - Block of 18 lessons (1 Class duration = 30 minutes)
The perfect chance for children to try an instrument before committing!
As our children age, so does their curiosity, find the right instrument for your child right from the start with the famed "instrument carousel" (Instrumentenkarussel).
Our instrument carousel gives children between the ages of 5 and 12 the opportunity to try out 9 of the most popular instruments within 5 months.
The focus is not on performance, but on motivation for an instrument.
Our experience shows that each of us has inclinations towards certain instruments. If your child starts lessons straight away with an instrument they feel drawn to, it is much easier to motivate them and then the focus is purely on having fun!
This 5-month course starts with an introductory in which the group will get to know each other, discover which instruments will be introduced and when, and how each course session will work.
In the following sessions, each instrument is introduced then repeated. This gives children a real chance to understand and feel their affection for each given instrument.
The instrument and class plan looks like this:

Lessons are taught by only a small handful of teachers. Children therefore see familiar faces, build trust and are able to focus entirely on music.
The typical structure of a session is essentially:
- Welcome, group warm-up and instrument introduction, incl. performance (5-10 min).
- Instrument test phase (15-20 min)
- Summary and farewell (5 min)
All children test all instruments. At the end, children know which instruments are available, what makes them tick and what it is like to play them. Based on this experience, children can easily choose their instruments.
