***MUSIC FOR TODDLERS***

Music initiation introduces infants to music with entertaining activities in a group setting. 

Learning sounds, words (colours, animals and other simple objects) and basic rhythm. Learning to recognise and replicate tunes. Most of all, to have some fun. 

Our early music education program is the first contact with music and sound for children

from the age of 6 months. New worlds of sounds are explored together. Together we learn

simple rhythms and melodies. We strive to create this in a natural and enjoyable way.

Everyone has a musical instinct, big or small, and we see it as our duty to develop and

encourage this. The earlier children are introduced to music and sound, the faster and

better they are able to recognise, influence and use certain cognitive processes.

These classes are enjoyable for parents and children alike. 

We have divided our courses into various age groups. For courses with children under the

age of 3, it is required by law that the parents (or a guardian) remain in the room. This is no

longer necessary for the older children. Our experience even shows that children have a

more in-depth experience without their parents in the room.

• Babies to 1.5-year-olds (in groups of 6 to 8 parent-child pairs)
  Children are of course accompanied by the mothers (or a caregiver). At this age young children are just starting to experience their own individual selves. This is exciting and a bit scary at times. It can also mean stress for little ones. Musically, playfully and gently we want to reduce the stress factor, support natural development and still strengthen the important bond with the mothers.
• 1.5 to 3.5-year-olds (in groups of 6 to 10 parent-child pairs)
  Children are accompanied by their parents. This not only creates a relaxed and familiar environment where we can achieve musical stimulation but also the toddlers will start to develop their musical intelligence and sensitivity. The children learn to repeat and use easy rhythms and the first simple melodies.
• 3.5 to 6-year-olds (in groups of 6 to 12 children)
  In this period, children are more independent, they have a natural curiosity to express themselves through sound. They discover music by having fun and they can choose the instrument or instruments that they prefer.  Children are encouraged to be alone with the teacher in order to get the most out of each lesson.
